Answer to Question #4:
The Village Peddler became a boutique 6 years ago. We started with Lily brand tunic tops. That is when I realized and was asked by so many ladies to bring in more clothing. So we became a boutique. We always had jewelry but not to the extent that we do now.
20 years ago we opened The Village Peddler as a specialty store with Vitamins and Nutritional Supplements and Crafts. Today we are a full line Boutique specializing in Fashion for Missy and Plus. Along with Vitamins & Nutritional Supplements, Gifts, Bereavement, Baby, Jewelry, Lotions, and Purses.
What a whirlwind of love and hard work! Thank you all for the past 20 years! ... See MoreSee Less

Answer to Question # 3 Down Memory Lane:
The Village Peddler 1st opened with Vitamins and Nutritional Supplements (which we still have!), along with area crafters. They each had their own little area; painted country signs, willow furniture, antiques, handmade dolls, ect. We also had Village Candles, Claire Burke Potpourri, Boyd's Plush Bears, and Willow Tree. We started carrying a cloth purse line and then went to Donna Sharp. Remember the stainless steel bracelet and charms? We were very big in that. Then there were Webkins! They were fun because we got to see the children in our store!
Another avenue The Village Peddler went into was a Thomas Kinkade gallery. We had that business in addition to all the others.
